The MORE certification recognizes our commitment to responsible innovation
European Recognition of Our Environmental Commitments
The renewal of the MORE certification highlights the initiatives implemented by Blachere Illumination to promote the use of recycled materials in its manufacturing processes. This initiative is based in particular on the development of Recyprint, an innovative material produced from rPET, which is derived from the collection, sorting, and recycling of PET plastic packaging.
Since 2019, our teams have been actively working to continuously improve our materials and manufacturing methods in order to reduce our use of virgin resources and promote more responsible production.
Tangible Results in Support of Sustainable Development
Reducing Environmental Impact Through Recycled Materials
In 2025, the use of rPET in the manufacture of our Recyprint material saved nearly 1,000 metric tons of CO₂e compared to the use of virgin plastic derived from fossil fuels.
This approach concretely demonstrates our commitment tothe circular economy and the recovery of plastic waste. It is also part of our efforts to develop illuminated graphics with a lower environmental impact while maintaining the levels of quality, creativity, and performance expected by our customers.
Our approach directly contributes toSustainable Development Goal 12 of the United Nations Global Compact: “Responsible Consumption and Production.”
An additional incentive to continue our efforts
Receiving the MORE 2026 certification marks a new milestone in our sustainable development strategy. This distinction recognizes the collective efforts of our teams as well as the partnerships we’ve built to promote recycling, eco-design, and material innovation.
More than just recognition, this renewal encourages us to continue our efforts to design increasingly responsible solutions and actively contribute to the transition toward a more circular economy.
