Health and Safety at Work

Beyond regulatory compliance, everything is done to ensure the protection of our employees and their environment. Through its main prevention body, the CCSCT, Blachere Illumination defines key areas for action and progress in workplace safety, health, working conditions, and environmental management.

Employee Benefits

Our compensation policy is based on fairness, diversity, recognition of skills, and performance. At Blachere Illumination, it includes the following measures:

• A seniority bonus after 3 years of service for non-executive employees.

• A profit-sharing bonus based on company results, distributed equally among all employees.

• Family health insurance: all employees automatically benefit from a company health insurance plan that covers their healthcare and that of their dependents (spouses, children, etc.) for the same cost.

• Solidarity day donation to all employees.

• Gift vouchers and holiday vouchers via the company’s Social and Economic Committee.

Work Organization

Because family is a value lived and built daily at Blachere Illumination, and because our business is inherently seasonal, several measures have been designed and implemented to ensure maximum work-life balance for all employees:

• Remote work: for eligible roles, employees can benefit from up to 30 telecommuting days per year, taken as 1 day per week throughout the year.

• 4-day work week: for logistics and production roles only, employees can work 35 hours over 4 days during the off-season, a schedule highly appreciated by our teams.

• Other schedule adjustments, defined with operational managers, allow for an effective and balanced work organization across all positions in the company.

At Blachere Illumination, we are committed to creating a work environment where everyone finds purpose in their work, feels engaged in a rewarding collective effort, and enjoys a welcoming and festive atmosphere!

Blachere Illumination Through the Team’s Eyes
Christophe Dubousquet Distribution Sales Director

What I am passionate about in my work is the light, the magic of Christmas and making everyone dream. At the same time, there are sales techniques to be put into practice as we address shopping centers in order to carry out their projects. As well as team support and network facilitation.

Pierre Bosviel Metalworker

My main tasks are to design lighting sets in both 2D and 3D. I work with the aluminum profile to give it the desired shape. This job is not repetitive; each decor is different.

Alexis Naxos Project Designer

My role as a Project & Creation Designer is transversal, ranging from the development of new sets collections to the development of custom projects. I rely on my sensitivity to object design as well as 2D design and 3D modeling tools to transform creative intentions into concrete and feasible solutions. I also liaise between the creation department and the workshops to ensure the aesthetic, technical, and functional coherence of projects.

Lorry Belmekki Lighting Assembler

My job is to wire the sets. I come to place the garlands and light wires on the aluminum structures. To work at Blachere Illumination you have to be manual and autonomous.

Lighting Assembly: a key step in creating decorative lighting displays

At Blachere Illumination, lighting assemblers play a vital role in the manufacturing of our decorative lighting displays and Christmas illuminations. Their expertise involves carefully installing string lights, lighting wires and illumination components onto aluminumstructures, transforming technical frameworks into eye-catching decorations.

This hands-on profession combines precision, craftsmanship and autonomy. Every project is unique, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to quality throughout the assembly process. From festive street decorations and giant Christmas displays to bespoke lightinginstallations, lighting assemblers contribute directly to bringing creative concepts to life.

As a leading manufacturer of professional lighting decorations, Blachere Illumination relies on the skills of its production teams to deliver reliable, durable and visually impactful installations for cities, shopping centers, tourist destinations and public spaces around the world.
