Operations

We are looking for a Head of Design Office (H/ F) in charge of supervising the management of projects and technical studies of lighting sets (mechanical-welded aluminum structures) for France and internationally. A true technical leader, you are the daily guarantor of the economic, technical and operational conditions of projects and lighting design. You must also guarantee the safety and marketing of these structures in close collaboration with the control offices.

Your missions
Reporting to the Director of Operations, and in close relationship with the creation, design and production teams, the main tasks of the position are as follows:
Supervision, management of operational teams (6 pers.) and coordination of their activities;
Ensure the management of projects and costing in accordance with the requested deadlines,
Monitor the production of plans by ensuring the transfer of files to production,
Collaborate with commercial teams to assess the technical feasibility of identified opportunities and lead related studies,
Monitor and organize after-sales service for technical problems not resolved by the sales administration in cooperation with the quality department,
Conduct an annual analysis of projects, figures and developments in studies,
Supervise the production of technical documentation,
Collaborate with the creation, design and production departments to ensure the technical validation of new sets.

Your expertise

With a Bac + 5 (or equivalent) in mechanical design or general engineer diploma, you have at least 10 years of experience on equivalent missions.
Leadership, ability to motivate and lead a team,
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines (strong seasonality),
Relational skills, great adaptability,
Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD software,
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.

The HR department will follow up on half of the trial period, and a balance sheet at the end of the trial period will be done with the operational manager.
